Oklahoma City jobs now hiring

Getting a job in Oklahoma City just got a little tougher. According to the BLS (Bureau of Labor Statistics), the unemployment rate in Oklahoma City climbed 0.5 percent between September and October to its current rate of 6.5 percent. That number is still substantially below the national unemployment rate of 10 percent, however.

If you do manage to score a job in Oklahoma City, you’ll likely be making less per hour than people in other states. However, there are still great jobs out there. Consider child care jobs, which pay $9.12 an hour (on average) in Oklahoma City.

Choosing the Best in Your Roof

Our house is almost done. From the walls down to the floor, it is made of bricks because I want my house to be styled like our ancestral house.

The contractor is waiting for my decision on what roofing materials are going to use on our roof. He showed us some samples of residential roofing that will be built-in to our house. My husband chose the kind of roof that will last longer, and will matched the type of our house. Our daughter wants it to be in style. We settled on one kind of roofing materials that was suggested by the contractor since we know very well that he will choose the best for us. After the installation, I am satisfied at the durability of the product.

I guess, our ancestral house needs re-roofing, and I want to use the same roofing materials they install in our new house to also make it look like new.
